3-Ingredient Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

This rich, gooey dessert is pure comfort food — and it couldn’t be easier! With just three pantry ingredients, no bowls, no mixing, and hardly any prep time, this chocolate cherry dump cake is your new lazy-day favorite

ingredients:

1 box chocolate cake mix (375g / ~13 oz)– like Devil’s Food

1 can cherry pie filling (540 ml / ~21 oz)

1/2 cup (115g) butter, melted                 

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Pour the cherry pie filling into a baking dish (about 8×8 or 9×9 inches). Spread evenly.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cherries. Do not stir!
Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, trying to cover as much surface as possible.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is set and edges are crisp.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm — ideally with vanilla ice cream!
