Soft Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients for the Dough
•3 ¼ cups (400 g) all-purpose flour
•1 cup (240 ml) warm milk
•¼ cup (50 g) sugar
•1 packet (7 g) dry yeast
•1 egg
•¼ cup (60 g) melted butter

•⅓ cup (70 g) brown sugar
•2 tsp ground cinnamon
•2 tbsp melted butter

•½ cup (100 g) powdered sugar
•2 tbsp milk
•½ tsp vanilla extract

👩🍳 Instructions
1.Activate yeast:
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 10 minutes until foamy.
2.Make the dough:
Add egg, melted butter, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead for about 5–8 minutes (or use a mixer) until smooth.
3.Let rise:
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour (it should double in size).
4.Prepare filling:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
5.Shape the rolls:
Roll the dough into a rectangle (about ¼ inch thick).
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix.
Roll up tightly and cut into 9–12 pieces.
6.Second rise:
Place buns in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise another 30 minutes.
7.Bake:
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
8.Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm buns.
